Abstract

The assignment is to develop a trusted and credible digital service or platform that is accessible via a range of desk or lap-top and hand-held devices. The primary audience will be workers - health professionals, emergency and first responders, other occupational groups, including people who volunteer, across all sectors of statutory, voluntary and commercial types of business (employers) The platform, or service, should enable users to identify training and development products/offers, available on-line, or through Wales-based providers, that best suit their individual or workforce development needs (e.g.: Zero Suicide Alliance training , Agored Cymru , Samaritans , 4 Mental Health courses Grassroots, Brighton and East Sussex ). This will require the presentation of the offers in a way that reflects the search behaviours of those seeking the information. The platform will signpost to a range of other web-based sources for specific occupational groups (e.g.: College of Policing ), as well as hosting key information relating to suicide and self harm that support users’ understanding of the issues (e.g.: components of the content within the guidance for people working with children and young people ).
