II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NGN have requirements for qualified Welders to support various disciplines within the business, services would include but are not limited to: Design & manufacture spool pieces up to circa 16" in diameter in support of our replacement and Connections work streams. Welding activities in accordance with NGN/SP/P/1 Specification for welding of onshore steel pipelines designed to operate at the pressures not greater than 7 bar. Cathodic protection supplied and installation. Pipe wrap protection supplied and installation. Manufacture of 1" and 2" riser laterals feeding multiple properties in support of our Emergency and Connections work streams. Varying assemblies in support of our Non domestic requirements in all operational disciplines and district governor inlet and outlet pipework. Flanges welded onto factory entries up to 16". Extending steel factory and cellar entries for thicker walls. Provision of lifting over live plant.
Pipeline non-destructive testing and hydraulic testing. The fabrication and installation of above ground services and mains >4" ( but not limited to) - mappress crimping systems. Pressure rating for the above works will be limited to below 2 bar for this framework.
