Abstract

This contract is for the provision of a Debt, Welfare and Housing information and advice service within the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen. In addition, there is the requirement to provide 2 appropriately experienced staff to be a part of a council team, headed by the Benefits Service to implement a government led Supported Housing Improvement Programme. Included in the programme will be the review of supported housing accommodation quality, and for the provision of transitionary support to assist residents with moving into, and maintaining more permanent mainstream accommodation.
