Abstract

Walsall Council are looking to secure the provision of a Housing First Navigator (support worker) service to continue to provide support for up to 50 rough sleepers, or those at risk of rough sleeping. The service will have a significant focus on helping these existing customers move on to independent living, and ‘graduating’ from the service – whilst there will also be an expectation on the service provider that they remain a point of contact for graduated service users if needed. The service has been in place since November 2017. This contract will run from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2025, with an option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months.
