London Borough of Croydon (‘The Council’) is seeking to appoint one leading provider suitably qualified and experienced contractor in relation to entering into a term service contracts to deliver a range of arboricultural services and maintenance functions. The proposed service shall include works are aligned in the following areas:
(a) Tree works and management;
(b) Tree survey and inspection;
(c) Planned maintenance;
(d) Reactive maintenance
A term service maintenance contract for The London Borough of Croydon’s trees and woodlands team manages trees across Highways, Parks & Open Spaces, Housing land, Woodlands, and other Council Estates land. This comprises of Approximately 35,00 street trees, 500 hectares of woodlands, and Approximately 20,000 trees across our 127 Parks and Housing sites and Crematoria, this is within an area of 87km², this extends from Upper Norwood in the north to Old Coulsdon in the south. The London Borough of Croydon is supported by a road network of 726km.
The contract will be for an estimated value of £7,500,000 (excluding VAT) across 5 years with the option to extend for 1 or more times up to a maximum of 5 years.

The contract estimated value is based on the Council estimated volume requirements, however this is a Zero guarantee contract and therefore the actual volume required and contract value may differ to contract value set out in this notice.
