Abstract

The Trust Port of Saundersfoot requires a full design overhaul and resurface of its car Park (approx. 19,000M2) to maximise the number of vehicles it can accommodate in line with current industry stander dimensions as well as improved pedestrian pathways and ramps that compliant with DDA / Equalities Act requirements as well as incorporating EV car charging points and future proofing the design with sufficient ducting that will ensure future power/ dater cables needs To include: - 1.Resurfacing the existing car park within the Harbour boundaries 2.Implement approved plans that re-configuration of existing car parking layout that conform to current industry standard recommended for parking bays as well as maximising vehicle capacity and flow. 3.Undertake all line marking that indicate - flow of vehicle / pedestrian pathways and parking bays 4.Increase the footprint of car park space through the redevelopment and incorporating the raised flowerbed area 5.New ramp walkways compliant with the equality Act 6.Installation of signage directions and safety– vehicle/ pedestrians / bicycle 7.Install raised vehicle calming measures and turning circle 8.Delineate new public pathways crossing the car park 9.Installation of new and replacement surface rainwater channels 10.Installation of curb stone along seaward and Harbour side 11.Installation of power cabling and ducting from both on-site substations to support EV car chargers’ stations 12.Installation of new EV chargers’ stations, mixture of rapid and fast, at two locations within the Harbour - suitable for 4 car per location 13.Installation of root tree protection system

2.1 Title

Car Park Resurfacing Trust Port of Saundersfoot

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

/ Equalities Act requirements as well as incorporating EV car charging points and future proofing the design with sufficient ducting that will ensure future power/ dater cables needs

To include: -

1.Resurfacing the existing car park within the Harbour boundaries

Dear potential tenders.
There was a miss calculation in the area required for resurfacing as this was taken from the original Harbour Order however there were some duplications and overlaps in these calculations.
Therefore the revised calculations are approximately: -
