Abstract

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey (“the PCC for Surrey”) is leading on a four year collaborative framework for a Vehicle Recovery and Disposal Managed Service in conjunction with the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex. This framework will be available to a number of other public sector organisations who may wish to utilise the framework.

This tender is for a single Managing Agent to provide a managed framework whereby all Contract Participants will have a single point of contact to request in respect of vehicles in accordance with current and proposed regulations:

• recovery, storage and eventual disposal (by centralised disposal agent)

• disposal (by centralised disposal agent) of vehicles recovered through another provision to that Contract Participant

In this context any vehicle referred to includes any property contained within the vehicle and or parts of a vehicle or vehicles.

Proposed contract start date will be 1st February 2024, for a period of 4 years with no extension options. Expiry date will be 31st January 2028.
