II.2.4) Description of the procurement
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (the “Authority”) is conducting market engagement in relation to its requirement for an Anaesthetic Chart Middleware Solution.<br/><br/>University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (“UHB”) is a large specialist teaching hospital that runs the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB), Birmingham Chest Clinic, Heartlands Hospital (BHH), Good Hope Hospital (GHH), Solihull Hospital (SH) and various community services across the region.<br/>The high level requirements for the solution are:<br/>• To extract all Anaesthetic Machine data and feed into our EPR <br/>• To extract data from infusion pumps and feed into our EPR<br/>• To be able to sign off on the data before submitting the information into our EPR<br/>• To have rapid data collection (1 minute/ 30 seconds) <br/>• In the event of a critical incident be able to drill down into the data by seconds.<br/><br/>Suppliers who are able to offer solutions relevant to this requirement are invited to express an interest and respond to a market engagement questionnaire.
