II.1.4) Short description
The University of Birmingham invites tenders for the provision of the Supply of Digital and Printed Certificates, Transcripts and Letters to provide a digital solution and printed documents to both graduating students, and students who have graduated from as early as 2002.
The University has a number of aims with regards to this solution:
1.1.1 To provide a more efficient process for producing, printing and sharing secure documents that can cope with high volumes of student data. We are looking for a solution which will create templated documents containing data from our student record system.
1.1.2 To improve the experience for students and third parties when securely sharing and accessing digital documents, aiding student employability. We are looking for a solution that is recognised and trusted by institutions around the world.
1.1.3 To improve the usability of the solution for document production colleagues allowing for potential document production expansion to the University's international campuses. We are looking for a solution that works smoothly and efficiently.
The system solution will be for use across the University's IT department, Registry, Students (both current and graduated students), with the potential of extending this further across the organisation.
