Lot 1: Flu Vaccinations for Council Staff:

Leicestershire County Council are offering a flu vaccination to all of its employees. This scheme is intended to be an extension of the NHS provision for 2023-2024. The NHS offer seasonal flu vaccination to protect those at higher risk of flu associated morbidity and mortality. Over 6000 employees will fall within scope of this provision.

At this moment, Leicestershire County Council and Rutland County Council are in search of service providers to offer Emergency Hormonal Contraception services. Under this lot, the primary objectives encompass improving sexual health outcomes, facilitating broader access to Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) and sexual health guidance, raising awareness about EHC and mainstream contraception among both service users and healthcare professionals, educating individuals about the risks associated with sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and directing them to suitable resources. Furthermore, this initiative is dedicated to reducing the occurrence of unplanned pregnancies by providing essential support and information to underserved/vulnerable females.
