Abstract

AIW is seeking a subcontractor for 'rough burning' or flame cutting requirements of redundant railway steel assets as per the attached Scope Document (see 'Additional Documents' section). An essential requirement of this service is that the supplier can accommodate 140 – 160nr. flame cuts per shift (where required). Flame cutting equipment and trollies to carry out the task safely will be required also.

Essential requirements to be considered for these works: -- Must have 24/7, 365 day coverage (for emergency call outs)- Personal Track Safety (PTS) certified staff- Ability to undertake 140 – 160 flame cuts per shift (where required)- Verified ConstructionLine Gold membership (or working towards)- Validated RISQS membership, with associated RICCL codes

Please note this is a speculative opportunity. The contractor has not yet won the prime contract and so a sub contract is not guaranteed.
