Abstract

• Oxfordshire County Council is a large employer with around 5,000 employees, plus 6,500 school employees. Our workplace buildings and schools are distributed throughout the county of Oxfordshire.

• Currently, there is currently no Adult Education provision offered as a service by Oxfordshire County Council. Instead, Oxfordshire’s principal provider of Adult Education is Abingdon and Witney College.

• Multiply is a 3-year programme was launched by the DfE in April 2022. Delays in procuring services mean that we are looking for a Provider to administer and deliver Multiply for the remainder of Year 2 (April 2023 – March 2024), and then for Year 3 (April 2024 – March 2025).

• Oxfordshire County Council will remain the Multiply grant recipient and retain responsibility for compliance with the conditions of grant, including financial assurance and reporting to the Department for Education.
