Abstract

Following a detailed review of the end-to-end Car Parking processes across Manchester Airport Group, it has been determined that a programme will begin to consider a Group service provider for barrierless forecourts and car parking.

The direction of travel across MAN, EMA and STN suggests barrierless technology being a necessity on forecourts and in car parks. The Programme must ensure the end outcome is one of income growth and not putting existing revenue at risk

MAG are issuing a questionnaire to seek the market?s views on the creation of a barrierless solution across MAG?s forecourts and carparks as well as potentially operating a hybrid solution such as barrierless forecourts and barrier pre-book car parks. The overarching aim is to:

- Protect Revenue

- Improve customer journey

- Improve traffic flow

- Remove tail gating

THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION

Your responses will not be scored in any way. This is an information gathering exercise only and is not a pre-qualification process. This exercise does not form part of any subsequent formal procurement process.

MAG's project team will use your response to better inform MAG about the market and the current opportunities and limitations, which may help with any future Procurement exercise MAG wishes to undertake.
