King George’s Hall has successfully presented a professional Christmas pantomime for generations and has a well-established reputation for delivering a high quality, modern production with a plethora of current pop songs, exceptional choreography and spectacular costumes. Blackburn with Darwen has low levels of engagement in the arts, a high proportion of the population is under 19 years of age. King George’s Hall envisages the pantomime is a gateway to theatre for many disadvantaged young people within the borough.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is seeking tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to establish a contract to work with the Authority for the next four years to co-produce the annual pantomime in King Georges Hall Blackburn.
The tender will be issued under an ITT issued by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council via the Chest e- Tendering Portal.
