Background
Fife Council has secured 10,000 pounds of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) funding to commission a feasibility study exploring the need and demand for a digital Food & Drink App. The proposed app would serve as an interactive map showcasing food and drink outlets across Fife, aimed at both residents and visitors. Purpose of the RFI
We are seeking information from suppliers with experience in digital feasibility studies, app development, tourism, or food and drink sector mapping. The purpose of this RFI is to gather insights into supplier capabilities, indicative approaches, and potential costs to inform the development of a formal procurement process of a Fife focused App.
Scope of the Feasibility Study
The study should aim to:
Assess demand and potential user base in Fife (local and tourist).
Identify key stakeholders and data sources.
Explore technical options for app development and maintenance.
Evaluate economic and social benefits.
Provide recommendations on delivery models and next steps.
Supplier Response
