II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Sexual assault referral centres, or SARCs, provide a safe space and dedicated care for anyone who has been raped, sexually assaulted or abused. They offer a range of services, including crisis care, medical and forensic examinations, emergency contraception and testing for sexually transmitted infections. They can also arrange access to an independent sexual violence advisor (ISVA), as well as referrals to mental health support and voluntary sector sexual violence support services.<br/><br/>This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice following a competitive process for the provision of the Adult Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) in Lincolnshire for NHS England Midlands.<br/><br/>The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £4,037,894.<br/><br/>This is an existing services and this will be a new provider.<br/><br/>The contract will start 01/04/2026 and end 31/03/2033 (this includes the commissioners option to extend for 2 years)

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulation 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by provider must be made to the relevant authority by 15 October 2025.
