Simple description of award criteria
The evaluation processes will be completed in accordance with the Authority's Contract Procedure Rules and is based on identifying the Tenderer submitting the Most Advantageous Tender (MAT). This will be determined by consideration of the following factors:
Cost = 80%
Quality = 20%
Cost - The lowest priced bid will be assigned the maximum 80% for cost. All other pricing scores will be scaled by dividing the lowest price offered by each tendered price, and using the percentage difference to scale the points for the remainder of the prices offered.
Quality - the delivery lead time will be evaluated by awarding the maximum 20% to the shortest lead time. All other quality scores will be scaled by dividing the shortest lead time offered (in weeks) by each lead time and using the percentage difference to scale the points for the remainder of the lead times offered.
