Abstract
The Council is procuring Alternative Provision (AP) services, which may include special educational tuition packages, to meet its statutory duty under the Education Act 1996 to provide suitable full-time education for children of compulsory school age who are unable to attend school due to illness, exclusion, or other circumstances.Provisions must be tailored to individual needs, with a focus on educational achievement, core subjects, and qualified staff.
