Key Criteria Weighting

Quality and Innovation - 35%

Value - 15%

Integration, Collaboration, and Service Sustainability - 25%

Improving Access, Reducing Health Inequalities, and Facilitating Choice - 15%

Social Value - 10%

Rationale for Key Criteria:

Quality is a key tool in current contract management and a significant measure for health services. This criteria is reflective of the Council's wider agenda and policies.

Value: The contract currently benefits from economies of scale; sharing the same provider as some other NE LA's and being part of a larger national charity

The integration of health and social care services is a key driver in the Council and ICB's approach to health. Service collaboration alongside collaboration with voluntary and community sector partners in terms of service design is a frequent finding and recommendation in health research. This criteria is reflective of the Council's wider agenda and policies.

Reducing health inequalities is a key driver in the Council's Thrive agenda, underpinning our Corporate Plan and the Health and Wellbeing Strategy. By the nature of the contract, addressing health inequalities is at the heart of everything that the service is designed to do

Social Value is a key consideration in all Council contracts.

The provider was evaluated in accordance with the key criteria identified and scored above the threshold as set by the contracting authority
