The procurement has been undertaken in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR Wales) using Direct Award Process 2.

This notice commences the mandatory standstill period, which will expire 8 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice.

Justification for selected award procedure:
The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive
Explanation
This procurement relates to healthcare services and has been undertaken in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR Wales) using Direct Award Process 2.
Following assessment against the applicable key criteria and basic selection criteria, Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board has determined that the incumbent provider remains capable of delivering the services and continues to meet the requirements of the Health Board and service users.
In accordance with Direct Award Process 2, the Health Board has concluded that a change of provider is not justified and that continuity of service provision represents the most appropriate means of securing the required healthcare services. The decision has been made following consideration of the relevant Provider Selection Regime criteria.
The Health Board therefore intends to award the contract to the incumbent provider under Direct Award Process 2 and has published an Intention to Award Notice to commence the standstill period in accordance with the requirements of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR Wales).
