| Instructions to suppliersTidal Energy Limited is looking to receive tenders for the design, manufacture and supply of a heavy duty hydraulic system. This Scope of supply relates to the hydraulic system for the demonstration tidal energy device that will be used to yaw the nacelle to align the rotor to the changing flow directions.The technical specification details the technical requirements for the supply of 1 complete hydraulic system to enable active yaw (through hydraulic rams) of the turbine nacelle through an arc of 200 degrees. The specification covers the requirements and principles for the operation of the system along with detailing the environmental and physical conditions within which the system is required to operate. The specification also details the full scope of supply for the system including delivery locations and schedule. The Invitation to Tender is attached to this Notice. To obtain a copy of the Specification, referred to as Schedule 1 of the ITT, suppliers are required to request the document from Tidal Energy Limited at the contact details outlined in Section 1 of this Notice |
