Formålet med kontrakten er at støtte definitionen og implementeringen af Den Europæiske Banktilsynsmyndigheds kommunikationsstrategi. Kontrakten vil omfatte hele paletten af aktiviteter i relation til implementering af kommunikationsstrategi fra generelle kommunikationsplaner og medieaktiviteter til projektering og produktion af kommunikationsmateriale samt tilrettelæggelse af arrangementer og konferencer, forvaltning af pr-initiativer og andre kommunikationsrelaterede tjenesteydelser.
