Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

The successful tenderer will be required to provide catering services at Carterton Community College.

The College is seeking investment from bidding contractors to upgrade the kitchen and dining facilities at the College, both for the current 600 pupils at the College and also for a further 250 local primary school pupils close by which will be catered for from January 2015.

The College is keen to seek a long lasting partnership with their chosen catering contractor to improve and modernise the catering provision to their pupils and staff.

The new contract will commence from September 2014 and kitchen and dining refurbishment is likely to take place over the Christmas period and be ready for January 2015.

Within the catering tender process the College are keen to gather and review design schemes which will achieve their longer term objectives.
