As the leading water and waste water utility in the country we cover the counties of Somerset, Dorset and Bristol, together with South Gloucestershire and parts of Wiltshire and Hampshire. Across this area we have requirements for varying quantities of tools and non-operated plant for our construction and operations/maintenance requirements. Equipment varying from 13T Excavators, Telehandlers, 2T- 9T dumper, compressors, disc cutters and floor saws etc. for example.

Responses to the PQQ shall be assessed and used to short-list applicants who will be invited to tender.

Wessex Water Services Ltd will not be liable for any costs incurred by the applicant in respect of this notice. Wessex Water Services Ltd reserves the right not to award an framework agreement in connection with this notice.

Lodging of appeals

Wessex Water Services Limited will incorporate a standstill period at the point information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. That notification will provide full information on the award decision. The standstill period, which will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into.

The Utilities Contracts Regulations 2006 (SI 2006 No 6) as amended provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England).
