Abstract

The Force is looking to appoint a single organisation who can deliver programmes of education for perpetrators of Domestic Abuse across the whole Northumbria Policing area. The programmes will focus on heterosexual male perpetrators who are 18 years old and over, however the Force would be interested in exploring whether services could also be offered to other groups of perpetrators.

The Force envisages with the funding available that the programme will focus on heterosexual male perpetrators following domestic abuse incidents involving women and children. However the force is keen to invite applicants to outline what services they can offer within the funding available to extend services to include other groups of perpetrators namely:

female perpetrators of domestic abuse in heterosexual relationships,

male perpetrators of domestic abuse in same sex relationships,

female perpetrators of domestic abuse in same sex relationships,

perpetrators of domestic abuse of family members (non intimate partner), and

perpetrators aged 17 years of age and under.
