Additional Information
Genomics England wish to purchase a client server pipeline analytic software solution. This solution should provide:
— A component library of drag-and-drop analysis component for genetic data, including the analysis and the comparison of BAM and VCF files.
— A development facility for new drag-and-drop components to extend the standard component library.
— Allow the integration with GRID engine technology to allow the analysis of data requiring high CPU configurations.
— Integration with Single Sign On technology.
— Version control of all analytical protocols developed, and the ability to roll back to a specific version.
The initial requirement is for a 10 user development licence including maintenance and support. This may rise to as many as 40 annual licences with maintenance and support. The licences are for use by the Company's commercial users within its data centre although other users may wish to avail themselves of the software.
A key aspect for Genomics England is for the software and component libraries to have a full support wrap on commercial terms. This support wrap should include:
— A UK and US working hours support service accessible by phone and email.
—The provision of maintenance updates when issues are identified with the core analytic software.
— On-going maintenance of genetic component libraries to ensure the availability of the most up to date analytic tools.
