Abstract

In 2013, St Anthony's Catholic Primary School completed construction of a single storey 6 classroom standalone block. The planning application submitted for the build was in response to an increased pupil intake and included the completed 6 classroom block (Phase I) as well as a 2nd 4 classroom standalone block (Phase II).

It is important that St Anthony's is supported in providing quality education to the community it serves and to help deliver sustainable expansion. The proposed 4 classroom block is required in response to the Council's continued responsibility for providing school places within the Borough and to accommodate an increased demand in pupil intake.
