Additional Information

As part of the programme Genomics England will implement large analytical cluster. This cluster will require a GRID scheduler/manager to:

— Distribute workloads across the cluster.

— Optimisation of workloads based on profiles and loading patterns.

— Reporting on the loading of the cluster.

— Integration with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

— Support of up to a 20 000 cores cluster, or sub-divide the environment into a number of smaller cluster.

Commercial Considerations.

The Company invites quotes for a 20 000 core environment over a 3 year term, including support and training. In addition, Genomics England requires the supplier to provide an option for a further 2 years.
