In line with PCR 2015, Regulation 46, the NIAC has considered dividing this contract into lots. The decision has been taken not to do so based on the operational importance of the Core Service and the potential risk of failure to complete the service provision. It is also considered that by splitting this contract into lots, the cost to the public purse may increase and therefore not represent value for money.

The NI Assembly Commission will incorporate a 10-day standstill period in line with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers. The notification will provide information on the award decision. This standstill period provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to seek further information before the contract is entered into.
