Short description of the contract or purchase(s)

This is an OJEU collaborative procurement for a scaffolding framework. The framework will run for 12 months with 3 possible x 12 month extensions, meaning a total possible contract period of 4 years.

The framework consists of 4 lots:

Lot 1: Supply and installation of scaffolding in the Barnsley borough;

Lot 2: Supply and installation of scaffolding in the Doncaster borough;

Lot 3: Purchase of scaffolding items;

Lot 4: Hire of scaffolding items.

Berneslai Homes will incorporate a minimum 10 day standstill period at the point of information on the award, this provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
