II.1.4) Short description
Cambridge City Council (CCC), Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) and South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC) are seeking a hosted ICT system for the efficient and effective management of the waste and streets and open space services. The purpose of the system is to:
— Improve customer service, including issues reporting and monitoring.
— Improve operational efficiency and productivity.
— Maximising mobile working opportunities.
— Rationalise existing multiple systems to a single integrated system across all 3 councils.
The system should be maintained, upgraded and available for use by the Councils for 5 years with an annual review every year for a further 5 years.
Through the RECAP partnership other Councils have expressed an interest in this procurement and who may wish to take advantage of the outcome of the system, pricing, terms and conditions available within this contract. These Councils are East Cambridgeshire, Fenland District Councils and Peterborough City Council.
