The Police and Crime Commission for Hampshire and The Chief Constable of Hampshire intend to put in place a contract for the provision of Psychological Services, to provide additional specialist support to officers and staff who are experiencing work related or work affecting mental health/trauma related issues; to facilitate recovery, by giving access to clinical psychological services, assessments and therapies. In addition this service may provide advice to management and assist the internal OH clinical team in delivering appropriate OH care. There is also a requirement to provide assistance in the development of psychological programmes and initiatives as required including trauma support programmes. An Employee Assistance Programme is currently in place in the organisations.
