Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (SRFT) hosts a number of specialist services supporting patients outside of the catchment area of the Trust. Examples include neurosciences and renal medicine. In addition to delivering out-patient care these services also provide support for in-patients at other Acute Trusts ranging from the provision of clinical advice, to in person reviews, and coordination of patient transfers into and out of SRFT. We are seeking to procure an online system that allows us to improve service efficiency and quality by allowing:
Clinical teams at referring sites to safely and efficiently make contact with SRFT specialist services.
Specialist services at SRFT to improve efficiency by offering control of workflows and identify how patients should be managed referring sites and SRFT to be able to see a single version of information provided capacity management teams to have a unified view of patients requiring transfer into or out of SRFT specialist services
