Abstract

The aim of the service is to deliver immunisation services to all eligible children and young people in school and other settings where appropriate (Pupil Referral Units, Home Schooling) across East of England. This contract is likely to be divided into lots. However, this has not yet been defined. The service should provide a dynamic, high performing, safe, effective and dedicated immunisation service that encompasses the immunisation programmes. The service should engage all children, young people and their parents and should be well known to the community it serves.

The provider will need to provide services for the following immunisations:

— Seasonal flu immunisation including Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) and Intramuscular (IM) vaccines in line with national roll out plans. This includes special schools (students and staff),

— Tetanus, diphtheria and polio (Td/IPV),

— Meningococcal groups A, C, W and Y (MenACWY),

— Human Papillomavirus (HPV) - girls and boys,

— Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) catch-up.

— Give providers a brief overview on the scope of the procurement,

— Questionnaire results around the following:

—— Contract Lengths,

—— Lotting strategies,

—— Mobilisation risks and issues.

The Commissioner is seeking market input to support the development of its proposal prior to publication of the formal procurement opportunity. If your organisation wishes to contribute and would like to attend the Market Engagement Webinar please register against Quote/tender 37052 in EU Supply (https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=agcsu) and complete the short questionnaire no later than 12:00 noon on Friday 13.9.2019, further details of the Webinar will be circulated to delegates once the registration process closes. You should provide any rationale for your responses within the questionnaire. This information will be kept confidential and considered in designing the scope of the service.

Please note this is purely a market assessment exercise to gather information on potential providers. The subsequent procurement will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when published. The responses received during the market assessment exercise will not be taken into account in any future evaluation process as part of the formal procurement process.

An expression of interest in this PIN will not automatically entitle involvement in any future procurement exercise.
