Abstract

Scottish Water has a requirement to include ion exchange technology for organics removal, in municipal water treatment for systems up to 1 Ml/day. The scope of supply shall include, but is not limited to: the design, manufacture, supply, works testing, delivery to site, off-loading, moving into position, erection, installation, testing and commissioning of ion exchange plant and equipment. This scope shall include all major and ancillary plant and accessories necessary to form and/or integrate into an existing water treatment works a complete and robust system capable of organics removal in municipal water treatment. All systems, processes and components must be compliant with Scottish Water specifications and standards required and be approved for use in water treatment, complying with the Public Water Supply Scotland Regulations 2014 and/or the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016.

Responses to the OJEU Notice will be evaluated and only successful applicants following PQQ evaluation will be invited to submit a tender. Scottish Water reserves the right to divide the scope of the contract into lots at tender and contract award stages as it deems appropriate. Applicants who fail to supply all of the information requested in response to this Notice or any resulting tender exercise may risk elimination.
