IV.1) Description
IV.1.1) Type of procedure
Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition
Justification for selected award procedure:
Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable for the contracting authority and in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the Directive
Explanation
As set out in the voluntary ex ante transparency notice that was published on 7.8.2019, the previous contract had to be terminated with 28 days' notice. There was therefore insufficient time to undertake a full procurement, including undertaking a mobilisation. This is a caretaker arrangement with a 12-month duration starting on 1.9.2019, to enable the CCG to undertake a fully compliant procurement.
