Supply of fundraising services for our small and mighty Powys based participatory dance CIO.

It is anticipated that the majority of the contract will be undertaken at the office base of the successful tenderer with regular online meetings with Impelo and occasional site meetings.

We are looking to contract fundraising expertise to work with us over the next three years, growing our income and diversifying our income streams to support our work in the communities of Powys, touring our professional performances in the UK and to enable us to deliver our capital plans for the Dance Centre, Llandrindod Wells Powys

The initial contract would be for 6 months and renewable upon results

Total quantity or scope of tender

Up to £10,000 per annum with an initial 6 month contract.

For the initial contract of 6 months outputs are writing bids for planned projects to a value of £90,000 plus and developing Impelo's existing fundraising strategy, priorities and work plan.

The scope over the 3 years includes:

1. Develop Impelo’s existing fundraising strategy and workplan, identifying fundraising priorities, packages and realistic targets across capital, artistic and participatory programmes working closely with the Business Support Manager and Director.

2. Research and identify appropriate funding for capital project – using existing relationships with funders and desk-research to identify potential funders.

3. Project development – Working closely with Impelo staff and Board to develop the ‘ask’ for the funder. This may include new projects or identifying areas of core funding that need further resourcing.

4. Writing tenders and bids for projects in the of this contract of 6 months 19/20 to 90,000, future contract outcomes tbc but based on £110,000 in 20/21 and £124,00 in 21/22 - leading the writing and editing of bids and co-ordinating any follow-up information required by the funder.

6. With the Business Support Manager, identify cultivation opportunities involving the Director and Trustees as appropriate to help build successful funding relationships

7. Identify and co-ordinate fundraising opportunities across individual giving, community and events, digital channels and Corporate partnerships.

8. With the Business Support Manager and Capital Sub committee to develop detailed fundraising plan for Dance Centre capital redevelopment

8. Establish an effective stewardship plan for existing and potential donors, supporters and grant-giving trusts to ensure Impelo maintains high standards of care and excellent communication
