Abstract

To date de-icing and snow clearance of Stations has occurred through Station staff (at manned stations), and a mixture of Station Environmental Operatives (SEOs) and contracted support (at unmanned stations); to varying levels of success. This objective is to seek options for supply of the service, freeing up permanent staff to undertake business as usual activities. Scope of the Contract The provision of de-icing and snow clearance services across the Stations operated by TfW RS, during the 2019/2020 winter period. Including provision of de-icing supplies as necessary, rental provision of grit bins where not already in place, storage of bulk supplies. We have taken the view to lot the areas to North and South stations, We reserve the right to appoint more than one supplier to each lot.

03/02/2021 08:50	Notice Cancelled This notice has been cancelled. The original deadline date of 28/10/2019 is no longer applicable. The Sell2Wales Tender is being cancelled with no supplier to be appointed as a result. This is partly due to operational reasons, but also a change to the Business. As you are aware, the Franchise is due to be transferred from Keolis Amey Operations/Gweithrediadau Keolis Amey Limited to Transport for Wales Rail Limited, and this transfer is currently planned to occur on 7 February 2021. Thank you for the time and effort invested in preparing a bid.
