The University is looking to appoint an external law firm to work in partnership with the in-house legal team. We are looking for a firm that is willing to become familiar with how the University operates, has empathy with our vision and values and can act as our trusted advisor. We anticipate that we will require support in the following areas (please note, this list is non-exhaustive): procurement law, state aid law, commercial property and construction law, charities law, civil litigation support, commercial and company law, employment and immigration law, intellectual property law, data protection and freedom of information law, pension law, international law, education law, compliance with relevant government policy and guidance, regulatory/professional standards.
