II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) has a requirement for a specialist consultant to provide a feasibility study that comprises:
Work Package 1- Digital and Data. 200k GBP
Recruit residents to have monitoring data equipment installed in their homes, gathering and analysing energy usage and consumption data.
Work Package 2 – Business Development. 60k GBP
Gaining consumer insights and business modelling.
Work Package 3 – Procurement. 40k GBP
Providing support to BCBC for the tendering process to procure a delivery partner.
The Tenderer should note that Work Package 2 is subject to an Innovate UK competition application and if successful will be withdrawn from this contract.
The Tenderer should note that the Authority, for whatever reason, reserves the absolute right NOT to invoke Work Package 3 of the Contract
The overall budget for this piece of work is 300,000 GBP ex VAT.
