Abstract

The Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law as Swansea University has an international reputation for its applied research on cyberterrorism and terrorists’ use of the internet for propaganda, radicalisation and recruitment, and its new Cyber facilities (which will formally be designated as the Cyber Threats Research Centre “CYTREC”) are being completed as a major element of the Legal Innovation Lab Wales (LILW)* project. Swansea University’s existing Cyber threats research team have an extensive list of international collaborators who have all expressed an interest in utilising the new facilities to work on joint research ventures, and it plans to establish a Police Accredited Secure Facility (PASF), to host and analyse data up to OFFICIAL SENSITIVE level. The University therefore seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Consultant to support its PASF compliance, including the people, process, organisation, locations, data, applications and technology.
