Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable for the contracting authority and in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the Directive
Explanation:
CPD health projects has advised that in order to achieve this programme it will be necessary to derogate from the standard timescales and procedures of the EU Procurement Regulations. While this is not normal practice and would not normally be recommended, it is noted that under the EU Procurement Regulations allowances have been made to derogate from standard procurement timescales and procedures where unforeseeable circumstances have resulted in an extreme urgency to provide supplies or services. CPD-HP has confirmed that they are satisfied that our ongoing response to the current Covid-19 pandemic meets these criteria.
