II.1.4) Short description
This is a contract for the supply and provision, including maintenance, of rigid six shuttle buses for a minimum of either 5 years or 7 years, subject to performance. The contract will also allow for provision of additional buses throughout the life of the contract, if required by LLA. The target date for this contract to commence is April 2020, subject to vehicle type.
Option 1: this will be for diesel Euro 6 engine buses;
Option 2: this will be for hybrid electric diesel engine buses;
Option 3: this will be for electric engine buses and the required supporting infrastructure;
Option 4: this will be for a used fleet of Euro 6 buses that are less than 6 years old with less than 250 000 miles and in very good working order.
Note: the decision on whether the very good working order requirement has been fulfilled resides with LLA. Target commencement April 2020.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Provision of six shuttle buses to service LLA’s Car Parks, Car Hire Centre and Staff Car Parks.
The provision of six rigid buses each with the capacity to transport up to 99 passengers
The provision of additional buses throughout the life of the contract if required by LLA Maintenance, safety checks and the repair of all buses supplied within the agreement, in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and LLA Specifications, using fully trained, competent staff. This includes but is not limited to a full MOT class 5 full service, tires, batteries, etc., roadside assistance, recovery and scheduled maintenance.
The option chosen from the list below will be a decision taken by LLA, based on what best suits the business needs. This will likely be a balance between cost, quality including aesthetic and adherence to corporate social responsibility expectations.
