Abstract

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for a GP Practice Management Consultation to all GP Practices in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan on behalf of the Primary, Community & Intermediate Care Clinical Board (PCIC) of Cardiff & Vale University Health Board. The bidder is expected to; - To provide expert advice on all professional matters relating GP Practice Management developments/issues including General Medical Services Regulations, contract management and performance including QAIF Framework, and patient complaints. - To provide specialist advice and support to GP Practice Managers in Cardiff and Vale enabling robust and effective practice management processes within general practice and provision of educational activities for practice managers to enable them to provide management of GP Services, resulting in sustainable services for the registered population of Cardiff & Vale. - To provide advice to residents in the Cardiff and Vale areas about local GP services and help to respond to enquiries or complaints about services - To participate fully in the work of the Primary Care Team, including contract performance, service development and improvement, by leading and supporting the development of relevant guidance and advice, supporting the team in monitoring GMS Contractor’s levels of Contract Compliance and supporting the management of relationships between Primary Care Team and the UHB - To lead professional development and integration of the principles of practice management into primary care clusters within Cardiff & Vale

1. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to award the contract in whole, in part or annul the tendering process and not award any contract.

2. Bidders should note that they will be required to enter into terms and conditions of contract as set out in the ITT and that save for matters of clarification or consistency the Contracting Authority will not negotiate the terms.

3. The Contracting Authority will not accept completed ITT's after the stated closing date.

4. All documents to be priced (where applicable) in sterling and all payments made in sterling.

5. All tender costs and liabilities incurred by bidders shall be the sole responsibility of the bidders.
