Thank you for expressing an interest in a Contract Notice for Trivallis who are seeking to appoint an experienced contractor to undertake construction works related to disrepair claims at Trivallis owned properties located in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

We particularly welcome responses from small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

This procurement is following the Open Procedure under EU Directives. However, please note that Trivallis, utilising the Government procurement policy notice 11/20 have opted to reserve the opportunity to suppliers located within the geographical location of Rhondda Cynon Taff with a view to support domestic supply chains and promote resilience and capacity. Any bids received from contractors/suppliers outside of Rhondda Cynon Taff will not be taken forward to evaluation.

The works will be carried out at properties owned by Trivallis, situated in the geographical area of the Rhondda Cynon Taff.

All disrepair works – both internal and external are to be carried out using the NHFv7.0 Schedule of Rates.

Unmeasurable works not covered by NHFv7.0 will be quoted for. This work will consist of disrepair claim requirements to our Tenanted, Leasehold properties and Garages.

Disrepair works are to include but not limited to, general carpentry, plumbing, wet trades, electrical, painting and decorating, roofing, minor drainage works.

The successful Contractor(s) will be expected to identify or establish a dedicated local base from which the contract will be managed and employ a dedicated account manager.

The Requirement

Trivallis are an organisation that work to improve the social, cultural, environmental and economic well-being of Rhondda Cynon Taff. Trivallis need to address the long-term impact of their decisions, to work better with people, communities and each other.

It is imperative that the winning bidder can support the delivery of social value when delivering the contract.

Suppliers responses should detail:

• High scoring submissions will outline a demonstration of how social value can be achieved through the delivery of the contract, whilst addressing points such as the utilisation of local suppliers and connections within South Wales / RCT.

• Please also summarise below how your company could aid in improving their CSR (e.g. reducing CO2 Emissions, helping local communities).
