Midland Heart has a requirement to ensure that hot water and storage systems - including thermostatic mixer valves, unvented cylinders and booster sets - are installed, serviced and maintained so that risks from scalding or bacterial infection are non-existent or reduced to an absolute minimum. Accordingly, this procurement exercise is seeking proposals from water hygiene service providers who are able to provide services, including but not limited to:• Monitoring, sampling and cleaning of water systems• Certain remedial works• Periodic servicing• Cold water shut off testing requirements for thermostatic mixer valvesThe requirement shall be broken down in Lots, as follows:• Lot 1 – Water Hygiene Maintenance and Thermostatic Mixer Valve (TMV) Servicing. (This Lot shall include the monitoring, sampling and cleaning of water systems)• Lot 2 – Remedial Works and Reactive Repairs• Lot 3 – Risk AssessmentsFull details of each of the Lots can be found in the specifications.
