Internal alterations (relocating ladies toilet & bar cellar) new windows & doors, new staircases

Description of the goods or services required

Relocation of the current cellar and current ladies' toilet area and introduce a disabled toilet to improve access, whilst improving its general decoration.

Installation of two new staircases to open up access to the upstairs area for fire and safety regulations.

Installation of new windows and doors.

Waterproof the walls, ceilings and floors and ensure reduced ingress of water into the building.

Carry out asbestos removal work as per Asbestos Report.

Install flood barriers as per specification.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required

Member of Federation of Master Builders; UK Building & Construction Association, RICS or equivalent relevant Association.

Please provide two references for projects recently undertaken of at least this size and scope.

Throughout the delivery of the works, Clwb y Bont will require valuation certificates in line with the eventual payment schedule, based on the tender provided and the works completed.

Additional Information

Our aim is for this work to be completed so that we can be fully operational by mid December 2021.Recognising the high demand on builders and supply of raw materials, we would be prepared to amend this completion date to NO LATER THAN MID MARCH 2022 with work starting soon into 2022.

We have been advised that this work should span a timescale of 3-4 weeks. Please specify your timescale for this work.

Please specify in your tender whether you can meet our preferred timescale (work to be undertaken during November 2021) or state the timescale you can confidently meet.

On completion of the works Clwb Y Bont will require:

A CDM construction phase plan

All electrical certificates on items installed

Evidence and confirmation of all electrical works are undertaken by an approved NICEIC or equivalent

Any warranties on individual items sourced and installed

Health and Safety file document prior to commencement of works, and at the conclusion of the works.
