Welsh Gymnastics is seeking to partner with a company to update and modernise its website to better reflect its growing membership. We want to increase awareness and knowledge of the benefits of gymnastics on health and well-being by fully utilising our website and social media channels. In accordance with our financial procedures, we are inviting companies to tender for the development of a new website and maintenance of the website. Welsh Gymnastics aims to commission a supplier to work alongside the board, staff and members.

This commission specifically covers the following package of work:

- Website, Hosting, Maintenance and Support.

The website will need to showcase the extensive activities, opportunities, and role models within our sport, highlight the benefits of gymnastics to all and provide a gateway into the many different disciplines offered through gymnastics. It will be interactive and accessible, allowing users to have a positive experience.

WG want to upgrade our content offerings to existing members and improve the methods by which we communicate with them. Among the priorities are linking to social media platforms, creating/linking with an e-commerce platform, improving our video content and providing a payment gateway.

Minimum standards and qualification required

Welsh Gymnastics seeks to appoint a company that can satisfy the following requirements:

1. Demonstrate an understanding of the sector within which WG operates;

2. Identify with its objectives and show an interest in the activities of the company;

3. Carry out an efficient, timely and quality assured service;

4. Provide a plan and timeframe from commencement to sign off stage;

5. Provide both value for money and continued support throughout the contract term.
