Abstract

Amey Infrastructure Wales Limited (AIWL) are acting as managing agent for the InfraCo part of the Operator and Development Partner (ODP) who have been appointed by Transport For Wales (TfW) to undertake the Wales and Borders franchise. AIWL, on behalf of InfraCo, are seeking to appoint a party to supply only Steelwork materials for the next sections of the R2P and ABD route sections as part of the OLE structure works being carried out on the route.

2 Contract Details

2.1 Title

Core Valley Lines OLE (R2P & ABD) - Steelwork (Supply Only), Phase 2

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

AIWL, on behalf of InfraCo, are seeking to appoint a party to supply only Steelwork materials for the next sections of the R2P and ABD route sections as part of the OLE structure works being carried out on the route.

10/11/2021 12:10	Clarifications • The reference to this tender being issued in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations is incorrect. Said regulations do not apply as Amey Infrastructure Wales (AIW) as a private organisation. Therefore, for the sake of clarity and avoidance of doubt, suppliers shall note that the tender submissions in relation to this procurement event will be assessed in accordance with the criteria stipulated within the ITT and the AIW project specific procedures set out in the assessment protocol document (internal document for assessment team guidance). • The form of contract the works will be let via is not the NEC Supply contract. The form of contract utilised will be the Amey Supply of Goods Agreement.
