II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Stockport pharmaceuticals part of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust are looking to appoint a suitable Qualified Person (QP) on a contract basis to work alongside its existing in-house QA team to support a very active and rapidly growing portfolio of Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP) manufacturing projects and license applications.
Stockport Pharmaceuticals are a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility based within Stockport NHS Foundation Trust at Stepping Hill Hospital. The manufacturing facility holds an MS, MIA and MIA (IMP) License. Stockport Pharmaceuticals manufacture a wide range of Sterile, Non-Sterile and Aseptically prepared products. Stockport Pharmaceuticals manufacture IMP for both internally sponsored Clinical Trials and under contract for academic and commercial clients.
All Stockport Pharmaceutical activities are supported by a very mature Quality Assurance System compliant with all applicable regulations and frequently inspected by MHRA, and others.
